マウスピース完成
顎関節症治療のためのマウスピースが出来上がったので歯医者に取りに行く。って、あれ？これがマウスピースですか。私はてっきりボクサーがするようなものを思い浮かべていたんですが、まるっきり違っていたようですね。
これ、正確にはスプリントと言うプラスチックのプレートで、上の歯に装着することで噛み合わせを高くして顎関節の負荷を軽減し痛みを抑えるためのもの。4,500円くらいで作ってもらった。ちなみに、真ん中のあたり両脇に2つ出ているのは巨大な八重歯が2本あるため。
