Moulton APBのその後(1)

先月のモールトン・オーナーズ・ミーティングで大破して帰ってきた相方のモールトン。その後、購入店に壊れたフロントを宅配便で送り、修理費用の見積りをしてもらっているとこなのだけど、なかなか連絡が来ない。そろそろ待ちくたびれてきたぞ。修理費用もさることながら、どちらかといえばいつ直るのかという事の方が関心は大きい。と思っていたら、昨日ようやく連絡がとれた。
フレームが曲がったのに加え、調べたところヘッドチューブの下椀が変形して緩くなってしまっているとのこと。フレーム交換すると、新車が買える位かかるのでフレームビルダーに修理の見積りを依頼しているのだけど忙しいらしく、フォークの発注の関係上、年内は難しい見通し。
あららぁ、やっぱり淡い期待は裏切られましたか。残念。
