もしかして子供って可愛いかも
義弟家族が来て、一緒に夕食。8人の食卓。
義弟のお嫁さんとあたしは、どちらも150cm前後と体格が似ているわけで、産後少し太ってしまったという彼女の方が若干あたしよりも何故か少し細身なのですが。そんな彼女のもうすぐ1歳になる娘、あたしにとっては姪が、あたしの座っている元へ勢い良くハイハイで突進してくるではないですか。初めての経験にドキドキのあたし。あたしの膝に手をかけつかまり立ちをして、そしてあたしの首に手を回して抱きついてきた。これはまいったぞ。
えぇ、正直言いましょ。あたし、子供は嫌いです。というよりも、どう対応したらよいものかわからないってのが正直なところで、苦手なのだけれど。
あぁもぅ、これはたまらない。彼女は一気にあたしの心をググッとわしづかみにしてくれたわけで。もしかして子供って可愛いかも。
そんな彼女は、嬉しそうにあたしの顔を見つめる・みつめる・ミツメル…。そして、チガウチガウという表情を浮かべながら半ば怒ったように半泣きしながらあたしの元を去って行ってしまったわけで。
だょなぁ、やっぱりママと間違えたんだょなぁ、そうだょなぁ。
わかっていたけど、ちょっと傷心。
